Floating in a hazy worldWandering, dreamy eyed
Her face, teasingly veiled
Tresses, her smile they hide
Shouts, cackles and squeals
Mischievous, playful, lovable
Music to the ear, pain it heals
Her antics, all too adorable
Love her or hate her
Her magic, she’ll weave
Truly an amazing wonder
A lasting impression, she’ll leave
Treasured moments fly past
Leaving one craving for more
Cherished moments, hardly they last
Wish there was an infinite store
A rolling drop, a trickling drop
Wash away all her fears
Still they refuse to stop
Until cajoled by her dears
Sing to her flattering songs
Tease her all the time
That is what she loves
That is when her heart’ll chime
Talking dime a dozen
Oblivious of the rest
Hardly bitten or brazen
Yet passed many a test
Give her a hug
Tell her you care
Else, she’ll float away
As you stand and stare
