A Scream

"Pieces of a broken heart
A jigsaw without a start
Wholesome, it'll never be
Try as much, may you and me"

Meandering, wandering thoughts
Held close to the bosom
A desire to shout out loud
A scream of pain and anger in fusion
A silent spectator to the tyranny
Cursing, loathing the self
Hiding behind a veil of unctuous demeanor
A scream of chagrin and delusion
A failed effort too many
Every defeat, a hole in the armor
A resolution to rise again to the hilt
A scream of darkest fears in seclusion
A looming shadow, murky
Threatening to envelope and eclipse
To abate and suppress
Every scream of exhilaration

Yet
Yet a cognition
To ride over the storm
To weather the tempest
To scream over the scream
Tearing apart in entirety
Everything in the way of utmost destruction
No considerations, none at all
Of the consequences of that one fall
Replete with agony
Not a sound heard
Of the heart wrenching cry
A silent scream

A scream that should have never been
Some don’t even deserve to scream
Ensconced in him his spiteful dreams
Desert him with his agonizing screams
