Eyes ?
Stretching wider than the azure firmamentGleaming with a fiery light
Yet so kindly and benevolent
Even as daring the Sol’s might
Deeper than the all consuming swell
The expanse ever so huge
The inception of a stream juvenile
The trickling pearls’ sole refuge
Among peals of tinkling laughter
The orbs, shimmering with a twinkle
Coy and naïve and vivacious
Easing out every crease and wrinkle
An orifice to the heart’s core
A sieve to the mundane verity
Dispelling myth an’ lore
Revealing the truth in entirety
Compassion, compunction and caution
The throne whence love heralds
A mirror of every emotion
A stage whence the drama unfolds
The charisma, the magnetism
The void, the longing, the pain
All manifest themselves in unison
Before they mingle and wane
The emergence from a hazy mist
The attainment of a dream unfulfilled
As if spurred by the antics of a poltergeist
Unveiling a new dawn for the eyes that willed
